Students who live a reasonable distance away may cycle or scooter to school and are expected to abide by all traffic rules.

  • An approved helmet must be worn by students cycling and scootering to school.
  • The school provides a bike rack but cannot be responsible for the safety of bicycles. It is recommended that students secure their bikes and scooters with appropriate locks.  
  • Bikes and scooters must be walked to and from the pedestrian crossing and along the footpath outside Farm Cove and Wakaaranga schools.
  • Students crossing Butley Drive must use the pedestrian crossing.
  • Parents can drop students off in the bus bay.  Students should not be dropped off in the staff carpark.  
  • Students failing to comply with basic Road Code rules may be banned from bringing bicycles and scooters to school.
